Here's some vids of a few of the places I've visited over the past couple of years.
(most of the production and editing creidit goes to my better half !)
It was great to re-visit a place I called home for a while back in 2005 - Los Roques, Venezuela. I spent a considerable amount of time 'guiding' on this past trip, but had some down time to snap a few pix and get a couple video clips. Here's a little peek ..... SIGHT CAST - VENEZUELA, MAY 2014
From May, 2013- Mexico's Paradise Lodge - Southern Yucatan fishing for Snook, Tarpon, Bonefish and Permit. Excellent accomodations, outstanding food, phenomenal fishing and guides - this was the place that I got bit by the salt water fly fishing bug - back in 1999 !! So, 14 years later, I returned to get another dose. And another Permit !!
Paradise Lodge Version 2 contains some sweet images that were shot by Pro Photographer, Dan Armstrong of Strobot Studios in Bozeman, Montana.
March, 2013, we hosted a trip to Christmas Island, which is about half-way between Hawaii and Tahiti, in the "South Pacific". This was our second trip to "Christmas" for Bonefish, Trevally, and many other exotic species. And it most likely won't be our last....
Since getting married to my wonderful (fishing) wife, we've been to The Bahamas 5 times. That being said, we like it there. And we have a place to stay that's cheap and comes with a boat to get to and from flats. This video was shot somewhere on the Island of Abaco during one of those trips.
In 2011, my wife and I managed a small lodge inside Katmai National Park, in SW Alaska. Here's a few highlights from our summer. We hosted well over 50 anglers and caught some pretty nice fish during our 4 months in "the bush".
My first try at a vid from a trip to Belize's El Pescador Lodge with a good friend and fellow bonefishing nut, Bjorn. No video clips like the others, but a little idea of what it's like there.
